Coleraine Grammar School Rowing Club we’re delighted to welcome onboard major sponsors McDonalds restaurant, Coleraine. The four year sponsorship deal
generously provided by McDonalds managing director Mr Bruce Baillie has enable the club to purchase a one person boat known as a single scull.
This elite boat has been aptly named “Good Times” a very suitable name for a racing boat and also the current slogan for McDonalds restaurants.
A presentation ceremony took place at McDonalds resturant where the boat was displayed and Dr Carruthers Headmaster accompanied by some of the senior
athletes met and thanked Mr Baillie for his generosity. Mr Baillie a keen supporter of all sports wished the athletes every success in the boat
which will be pressed into service this coming weekend as two talented athletes travel to Cork to take part in the Irish trials selection process.
