Results Reveal 2018

Year 12 received their mock results

The Year 12 “Results Reveal” endeavoured to emulate their experience of opening their results letters in August. They received a welcome address from
the Headmaster, followed by a motivating talk from the Curriculum VP, Mr Evans. After opening their results letters the pupils listened to an informative
presentation about career options and next steps from Miss West-Hurst. Next, Mr Frew outlined a range of possible revision strategies to help pupils
consider the many ways they could improve their results, and the support offered to them through school. Lastly, Mr Palmer distributed Yr13 subject
choice booklets for pupils to look at the exciting array of courses available post-GCSE in Coleraine Grammar and through our CALP (Coleraine Area
Learning Partnership) options. It was astounding to hear that there are approximately 51 school days left! Whilst the clock is undoubtedly ticking
down to study leave, there is still plenty of time for pupils to put the effort in to ensure they get the grades of which they are capable. As
Mr Evans said: “It’s not about how bad you want it…it’s about how hard you’re willing to work for it!” The Powerpoint presentation from this event is available via the link below:
